Branding + Identity, Print Design
Cal Poly Pomona's student chapter organization (AIGA), hosted their annual "24 Hour Design-A-Thon" event to re-invent the client's current branding. I participated and teamed up with a small group of designers to redesign the visual identity for the local non-profit, Inland Valley Down Syndrome Association. Together we shared our ideas & design concepts to finalize the logo, and my primary role consisted of creating business cards, english and spanish brochures, and other print collateral.

ABOVE IS THE NEW LOGO

(Main inspiration for the new logo consisted of combining the chevrons shapes representing the 21st chromosomes, and incorporating the mountains of the Inland Valley in California. The down syndrome community uses blue and yellow, so we incorporated the color red to create the primary colors - in order to help the organization brand to stand out.)
